The Sun Clothed Woman

On September the 23rd, 2017, we were told by experts in the field of astronomy and other related studies that the sun was entering the constellation Virgo. "Virgo" is the Latin word for "Virgin". The moon also was being positioned at Virgo's feet and the 'nine' stars of the constellation Leo, plus three planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars), twelve in all, were being positioned at Virgo's head. The planet Jupiter was being positioned in the center of Virgo. Some refer to this as the belly of the virgin and as the days would progress, Jupiter would then come out of the virgin to the east, past her feet as if a wonderful cosmic birth were taking place. Let me ask you, is this a divine sign or is this a physical manifestation of that which is taking place at the same exact time in the Spirit?

This, friends, was foretold long ago by John, the beloved, also known as the Revelator who in his book, the Revelation of Jesus Christ, described a life and death drama that would play out in the sky that would result in the birth of a king. He wrote in chapter 12 and starting with verse one, "1 A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God..."

It has been said that the only time in history where these stars were aligned exactly in the same way as they were on this day, September 23rd, 2017 was when Jesus was born approximately 2020 years before. In fact, some are saying that this repeat of events is the sign of the Second Coming of Christ that many call the rapture of the church. Whether it is or not, we should never leave anything to chance for 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Forty days after the resurrection of Christ, he was received into heaven and many of his disciples who saw him ascend just stood there gazing into the heavens. Then two men in white raiment appeared before them and spoke to them saying “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

My friend, Jesus is coming back. He made us a promise but he doesn't want to lose one soul. So, will you be ready? Will you give your life to him? He is knocking on your heart's door. Won't you let him in?
